We don't really recommend advertising from your personal page. It's best if you build an audience around a business page instead.
There's a few reasons for this including:
- You can get very targeted with who you want to see your posts/content
- You're building a personal brand by generating an audience/following of people who are interested in a particular topic (once you have a following of people who like you and trust you, you can promote any product/opportunity that solves that audiences pains and problems)
- While you have a limit of how many friends you can have on your personal page, there's no limit to the number of followers/fans you can have on your business page.
- If you have a post that performs really well, you can "boost it" by doing paid advertising to get it in front of more people. You can't do paid advertising from a personal page.
If you don't have a business page set up yet (or if it's not generating as many leads as you would like), Tyson reveals inside of his training programs (the ones that use Facebook/Meta ads) how to set up a business page from scratch. And for those of you who already have a business page, he shows you some tweaks that you might not have been aware of to optimize your page for maximum lead generation.
